Insurance premium refund

Return of Premiums

In most cases, insurance policies are annual contracts, and once you sign such a contract, you are responsible for it. This means that if you cancel the contract at any time (outside of the cooling-off period, if applicable), you have no legal right to a refund of your premiums unless otherwise stated in the policy documents. Some insurance companies offer pro-rata refunds, and we will continue to strive to obtain a refund for you if possible

You are obliged (i) to disclose every fact that would influence the judgment of a prudent insurer in fixing the premium or in determining whether to underwrite the risk; (ii) not to misrepresent material facts and (iii) not to make fraudulent claims. A fact is material and requires disclosure to the insurer (even though the information was not asked or prompted by the insurer in the proposal form or any other communication between you and the insurer, whether through AWM or not). If it is relevant to the nature of the risk sought to be covered. To do otherwise may result in receiving no benefit from your chosen policy.
