Documents required for claim

If you intend to make a claim for your purchased car insurance, please submit the relevant documents to the insurance company as soon as possible, according to the claim items:

  • Your car is damaged 

    • Driver's ID card and driver's license (copy)

    • The front and back of the vehicle registration document (i.e., the license plate)

    • A quote for repairing an insured vehicle (applicable to comprehensive insurance)

    • Police procedures for handling drunk driving, including forms, statements, and accident sketches

    • Copy of breath test results

    • Car damage pictures or videos 

    • If the driver has two or more years of driving experience, please provide proof

    • Photos taken at the accident scene (if any)

  • Third-party claim protection 

    • Driver's ID card and driver's license (copy)

    • The front and back of the vehicle registration document (i.e., the license plate)

    • Police procedures for handling drunk driving, including forms, statements, and accident sketches

    • Police report number and notice of proposed charge (if any)

    • Copy of breath test results

    • Photos or videos of the accident scene and vehicle damage 

    • Detailed contact information for the third party includes:

      • Name

      • Data on property damage and/or injury

      • Telephone number

      • address

      • The license plate number and vehicle model of the third-party vehicle

    • Authorization form filled out and signed by the driver of the vehicle 

    • Witness's name, phone number, and address

    • Photos taken at the accident scene (if any)

  • Windshield protection**

    • The front and back of the vehicle registration document (i.e., the license plate)

    • Pictures or videos of damaged windshields

    • Original repair receipt

*The time limit for filing a claim varies from insurance company to insurance company, but most require it to be completed within 7 to 21 days after the incident. Please refer to the relevant insurance company's terms and conditions. If you fail to file a claim within the specified time, the insurance company has the right to refuse the late claim

**Some insurance companies offer windshield repair services at designated garages. Simply show the original policy to the garage. Please refer to the policy terms and conditions for details
