Hong Kong automakers head north to create a brighter future together, supporting education and helping students achieve their dreams. AWM embodies corporate responsibility through action

To commemorate the 20th anniversary of the Hong Kong Guangxi Association, the "Hong Kong Cars Heading North: Creating a Brighter Future Together - Scholarship and Dream Building" launch ceremony, organized by the Hong Kong Guangxi Hezhou Compatriots Association, was successfully held on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at the West Kowloon Cultural District (West Parking Lot). AWM was honored to be the title sponsor of this event and received a certificate of appreciation from Chief Secretary for Administration Mr. Chan Kwok-ki at the launch ceremony, a recognition that holds profound significance for us

As one of the leading auto insurance brokers in the region, AWM focuses on auto insurance services and insurance business development while also emphasizing corporate social responsibility, caring for the actual needs of disadvantaged families, and giving back to the community through action

In his thank-you speech, Wang Yaming, Chairman of the Conference and President of the Hong Kong Guangxi Hezhou Compatriots Association, stated that this event combined the "Hong Kong cars going north" policy with local resources to create a unique experience of national conditions for young people. He especially thanked AWM, CLP Power, Wuling Motors, and Mei Cheng Charitable Foundation for their sponsorship and support, which made the event possible

Through this event, we not only demonstrated our commitment to society, but also put into practice AWM's service philosophy of speed and warmth, supporting youth development and community inclusion through concrete actions

The event mobilized approximately one hundred "caring private cars" with dual license plates to provide free transportation for underprivileged families and teenagers participating in the "Teen" program and other community mentorship programs, crossing the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge to visit and exchange ideas in Zhuhai, and personally learn about the country's outstanding achievements in aerospace technology, artificial intelligence, and smart city construction

This event received strong support from numerous co-organizers and supporting organizations, including the Co-creation Teen Project, the Hong Kong Zhuhai Chamber of Commerce, the Hong Kong Guangxi General Chamber of Commerce, the Yau Tsim Mong South District Committee, and the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. It also received full support from the Zhuhai Municipal Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) Hong Kong Committee Office, the Yau Tsim Mong District Office, the Sham Shui Po District Office, the Yau Tsim Mong Association of Societies, and the Sham Shui Po Association of Societies. The project also received strong promotion from the organizing committee chairpersons and vice-chairpersons, including Wang Yaming, Jiang Zhengben, and Feng Zhichang, ensuring the event's smooth execution

The launch ceremony was graced by a distinguished lineup of officiating guests, including Chief Secretary for Administration Chan Kwok-ki (Gold Bauhinia Star, Justice of the Peace), Under Secretary for Labour and Welfare Ho Kai-ming (Justice of the Peace), Mr. Hu Qiming, Deputy Director of the Societies Liaison Department of the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, Mr. Li Wenbin, Deputy Director of the Kowloon Office of the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, and Mr. Li Jiawei, Yau Tsim Mong District Officer (Justice of the Peace). Mr. Wang Haoyu (a gentleman of the peace), Sham Shui Po District Officer; Dr. Luo Xuan, Associate Vice-President of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University; Ms. Wen Yingyi, President of the National People's Congress and the Hong Kong Guangxi Association; Mr. Wang Mingfan (a gentleman of the peace), a member of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference; and Mr. Wang Yaming, President of the Hong Kong Guangxi Hezhou Fellow Association, were among those who officiated at the ceremony, making it a grand occasion
